An Update on South City

Hi everyone,
On February 1st, our lead developer, Tomb, announced that South City would launch that week. Unfortunately as many of you have seen, we haven’t launched yet.
We want to be transparent about this and thank you for your patience as we polish the server. We apologize for not hitting our planned release date. At Cidez Studios, we’re focused on making South City one of the best FiveM servers for our community.
The delays stem from the ambitious scope of what we’re trying to create. We’re not just making a gang server. We’re creating a unique immersive experience for everyone, including content creators, streamers, law-abiding civilians, gangs, and emergency services. Whether you’re running a business, diving into high-stakes roleplay, fighting fires, enforcing laws, or filming for your audience, South City will offer a seamless experience. These goals have extended our release timeline, but we’re dedicated to creating a server you’ll enjoy for months and years to come.
Our team is hard at work on core systems. From detailed roleplay mechanics to features for civs, gangs, and emergency services, we’re prioritizing quality over pay-to-win mechanics. We’re also adding tools for content creators and streamers to make South City a creative hub. This will take some time but will ensure a unique experience for all players.
Soon, we’ll post updates on our progress, including sneak peeks of new features. We’ll also be looking for potential actors to star in the official South City trailer. Keep an eye on our channels for more details.
We know waiting isn’t easy, and we deeply appreciate your understanding. Your support fuels our drive to make South City the best FiveM server, and we’re confident the finished server will show the hard work we’ve put in.
